Throwback to Thailand
Travel is my passion. Been to Thailand last november, so just wanted to share some impression photo's.

I have been to Pattaya and Bangkok, these cities are very popular by tourists. If you go these places, you will go to the very touristic entertainment spots. So, if you're more of a nature person and want to see the actual beauty of Thailand, you should go to the East of Thailand, for example the island Koh Tao.
The people in Thailand are very religious. On the picture above, I was able to gather all the monks together to capture this memorable photo.
Shopping experience in Santa Barbara
Just to make my blog a little bit more lively, I've decided to blog about my shopping experience in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara is actually a very nice place to shop. There is this main street called "State Street" and you will find shops from BillaBong to DearDiary (which is a very cute shop for clothes, although I must say I'm not big fan of it, cause its quality is not that good). But girls here are in love with this shop.
I am a lover of rave parties, in Holland we call it "festivals", but I've been taught that in the US it's called raves. A very good place to shop for clothes for these kinds of festivals would be Urban Outfitters.
For the more preppy styled ones, there is Abercrombie, Gant and you also have a mall called Macy's where they sell all kinds of brands such as: Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren. These are all very standard brands as we all have in Europe.
The last couple of days, I have spend a lot on beauty products such as "pureology" shampoo and conditioner as well as AVA oil haircare and make up from MAC. I bought the hairproducts as we don't have it in Holland and for the make up, it's much cheaper.
I bought the hairproducts at this place called "Planet Beauty". They'd give you student discounts, which helps a lot as their products are kind of expensive.
The "Pureology" shampoo and conditioner are very concentrated and only made out of natural products. I have to add that it is used for colored hair. It actually works, my hair feels softer and thanks to the AVA oil, my hair shines. Even when my hair is damaged after colouring it, getting highlights and getting it permed...Using these products actually makes my hair feel like my own healthy hair again.
I also bought a hair straightener from the brand ghd. To be honest, it is very pricy ! But totally worth it.. it heats up in just one minute (very handy for the ones who are always late in the mornings) and the result is just spectacular.

Just a quick introduction: My name is Quynh and I'm from the Netherlands, but recently I moved to Santa Barbara (USA) to study. I opened this blog calling it "Mi Hermosa Vida" which means my beautiful life in Spanish. With this blog, I'd like to share my own experiences about travelling, beauty products, food and fashion.
So this is going to be my very first post from Santa Barbara. I just moved here two weeks ago and right now I'm still staying at a hotel, but tomorrow I will be moving to Tropicana Gardens, which is in Isla Vista (the party place of Santa Barbara), signed my contract before I even knew that...If you want to know how crazy it actually is, just go to youtube and type in "isla vista party"..it is like project X in real life. The weather here is just gorgeous, just as the view from my campus. I fell in love with this place 4 years ago when I was on vacation and I am blessed to have the chance to live here now !!
